1 piece salmon
1/2 cup pure New York State maple syrup
1/3 cup canola oil
Rind of ½ lemon
Salt and pepper
Make a marinade from the ingredients above and let sit for at least 1 hour. Brush fish with the marinade. Grill or bake until fish is cooked to your liking. Remove from heat and drizzle with more pure New York State maple syrup and lemon to taste. Also great on shrimp or your fish of choice!
