POTSDAM, NY – March 28, 2014 – Maple Run Emporium will celebrate its Third Year Anniversary at 49 Market Street in Potsdam on April 1, 2014.
Maple Run Emporium is a specialty shop that showcases maple and also offers gourmet foods, quality cookware, scents, and an Artisan Gallery of pottery, paintings, baskets, and woodturnings by local artists.
To launch Year Four, the shop will hold a Celebration Sale throughout the month of April with discounts of up to 50% on selected merchandise.
During the sale, Maple Run will celebrate its fourth Easter. “Easter is a special landmark because it was the shop’s first holiday featuring seasonal merchandise. Everything about the occasion was new and a first,” noted owner Mary Hilton. “Now our clientele knows that at Easter, we have baskets, bakeware, and solid chocolate Easter Bunnies.”
While the central theme of maple anchors the shop, Maple Run is continually expanding its scope as a gourmet grocery, kitchen store, and gift shop. To accommodate the ever-increasing stock, Ms. Hilton often changes the layout. The shop’s interior was completely renovated three years ago, creating an open, loft-like space with modular shelving and movable display tables, making the frequent transitions easy.
“Many people comment on how different the shop looks now compared to three years ago, or even a year ago,” noted Ms. Hilton.“It’s always a little different from the last time you walked in.”
Maple Run Emporium’s Third Anniversary Celebration Sale will be held for in-store shopping only from April 1-30, 2014.
Visitors to the shop in April are invited to enter the drawing for a spectacular Anniversary Celebration Gift Basket.
