The deep, black color of this pasta is a giveaway for what to expect in flavor from these beautiful linguine made with black squid ink and select flours. The sea flavor from this pasta is delicate and ideally served with seafood including shrimp, salmon, scallops, or sardines. Wonderful special recipe included on the label back.

Since 1860, Antico Pastificio Morelli has been producing regional Tuscan pastas. The family's pasta making traditions have been handed down through five generations. The pasta is kneaded slowly and dried at low temperature. The addition of wheat germ as an ingredient gives the pasta its signature rich taste and silky texture, and also provides an added nutritional boost. Produced and packed in Italy.

INGREDIENTS: Durum Wheat Semolina, Water, Wheat Germ, Dried Squid Ink. Contains  wheat and derivatives of molluscs. It may contain traces of eggs and fish.  Store in a dry cool place.

Certified USDA Organic. Net Weight 8.8 oz.

NOTE: The label reads "Cuttlefish Ink" because Squid is known as Cuttlefish in the United Kingdom, where the labels were printed for that market. The original recipe has not changed – this linguine is made with squid ink. In the USA, the "Pasta with Black Squid Ink" sticker was placed on the package for the American market.
